In the room
The room
Talat Noi is the old quarter between Chinatown and the river, and The Warehouse at 867 Charoen Krung is a multi-level complex of studios, vintage shops and workspaces that has grown up in it. Clutch is its nightlife floor, on the second level. On a quiet night Time Out describes it as a shared living room with a steady soundtrack and surprise midweek sets. On an event night the hangar opens up and it becomes a rave.
The sound system is a claim, not a fact. ListenBars lists OJAS x NNNN horns and JBL 4350 monitors, but that entry is unverified and no owner has confirmed it, so it sits here as a rumour with a brand name. What is verified is the programme: RomRom and Bangkok Community Radio run the big nights, and the big nights are on Resident Advisor.
Who made it
The people
The Warehouse collective and the two crews that programme it. No founder is named in the sources, and the bar's own Instagram is where the nights are posted.

An openly licensed photograph of the neighbourhood, not of the bar. The room has not supplied a picture yet.
Which night
The night
A RomRom or Bangkok Community Radio night. Cocktails that Time Out calls inventive but unfussy. The hours disagree with themselves: Time Out's text says Tuesday to Sunday, 18:00 to midnight, its details box says Tuesday to Friday to 02:00, and event nights run later than either. If the Chinatown night wants to move rather than sit, this is where it moves to. Sober, on Song Wat Road, is the sitting-down half of that sentence.
Insider tip
Walk in knowing
Check Resident Advisor for the night, not the hours. Start at Sober on Song Wat Road at sunset and let the evening end here.
Why it fits
Why it is in the atlas
It does not pass the listening-bar test and the page says so. It is on these pages because a Chinatown crawl needs somewhere to go after the records, and this is where Bangkok goes.
