Barbarella's is the classic open-air dancefloor, in a pine setting beside the sea, with boat parties feeding the night. Dimensions is a six-day festival at The Garden with house and techno at the core and soul, disco, jazz, dub and R&B around it, run by the team behind Outlook. It spent its first decade at Fort Punta Christo near Pula and moved to Tisno in 2020.
The calendar splits neatly. Barbarella's is open from late June to late August, with doors typically from 22:00 to 06:00 in festival weeks, and the best window is late July to mid-August, during the Tisno festival season that includes Defected Croatia, Love International and Suncebeat. Arrive after midnight. Dimensions runs in the last week of August: 26 to 31 August 2027, with tickets on sale from late October or early November 2026. The Barbarella's after-parties need a separate ticket.
For Tisno, fly to Split or Zadar, each about an hour away by road, then take a bus, taxi or the official festival transfer, which can be booked with a Dimensions ticket. Most festival-goers stay on site at The Garden, in the campsite, hostels, mobile homes or boutique camping.
