EXIT's Starlight Festival went ahead at the Pyramids of Giza on 9 and 10 October 2026, with Cairo events either side, run by EXIT Festival and P+US, the electronic music platform of Venture Lifestyle. Pollstar reported fans from 114 countries and more than 60 international and regional artists. The organisers called it the biggest electronic event at the site since Jean-Michel Jarre's millennium concert in 1999; no independent attendance figure has been published.

Charlotte de Witte headlined the Saturday with her first ever show in Egypt, which DJ Mag called the climax of the festival. WhoMadeWho and Satori were singled out for their live sets, and the design studio Sila Sveta used light to make the pyramids seem to float above the main stage. Gioli & Assia closed the weekend in Cairo on the Sunday.

Not everyone is comfortable with raves on the plateau: the Egyptian Center for Economic and Social Rights has gone to court seeking a ban on large music events at the site, citing the risk of vibration to the ancient stones (IQ Magazine, October 2025). Starlight returns on 5 and 6 November 2027, with pre-registration open on the organiser's site.
