Nyege Nyege returns to Kalagala Falls on the River Nile near Jinja, Uganda, for its 11th edition, from 19 to 22 November 2026. The organiser lists seven stages and more than 200 artists, with camping on site by the river. Its line-up page still says the acts are to be announced, so watch nyegenyege.com.
Born in Kampala's DIY underground, Nyege Nyege is where much of East Africa's most adventurous electronic music first reaches an international crowd, from Dar es Salaam's singeli to Kampala's experimental producers. The Daily Monitor reports that the African Electronic Music Conference runs alongside it, from 17 to 19 November.
The festival's page in the atlas has the detail on reaching Kalagala Falls, and the Kampala Nile Frequency path strings the city and the river into one trip. Tickets are sold through the organiser's site.
